My favorite tree or plant

Well, today I'm going to write about my favorite plant, if I'm honest, I don't really have one, or at least I don't remember now. So, I will write about the last plant that caught my attention, it was Saturday when I was with my family in the "Cerro Lo Aguirre", there were many plants, I was very happy to see them and recognize them. But one, in particular, was really interesting for me, but I couldn't recognize it, it was purple and had many green leaves. I took many pictures Then, when I arrived at my house, I looked for the species, I thought it could belong to the genre "Lobelia" because it seemed similar but not the same as a flower we saw in the summer practice of the career, and also, I thought it could be a native plant of Chile because in that place, at a glance, the amount of exotic species was minimal in comparison to the native flora. Finally, I discovered it was called Lobelia polyphylla and it was an endemic shrub, distributed from the Atacama Region to the Region of Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins. Its state of conservation was "out of danger", its names "polyphylla" means it has many leaves (poly-phylla), the type of forest where it grows is ... well, there is not much information about it, or at least I I did not find it, but it grows on sandy grounds near the coast.
